Come to the Sheldon Public Library Tuesday, Oct. 15th, and pick up a Story Time To-Go Kit. You can pick up an early literacy packet with activities and a craft, with tips on getting your child ready to read. The kits are designed for kids 3- to 6-years-old.
Seniors, looking for a place to gather with friends? Enjoy coffee, treats, fellowship and a short presentation at Prairie Woods Nature Center at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The topic is Squirrels and Friends.
Tuesday, Oct. 15th, it is Toddler Time at the Sheldon Public Library. IT is designed for 1—to early 3-year-olds and their caretaker. We share books, songs, fingerplays, felt boards, whole-body movement, and more. Siblings are also welcome. The session starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts 20 – 30 minutes, followed by playtime.
Tuesday, Oct. 15th it is Story Hour at the Sibley Public Library. It is for children from 0-years-old to 5-years-old and the event runs from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Women that are mothers, please join the "Mom to Mom" Bible study that happens every first and third Wednesday of each month between October and May at Faith Community Church in Sheldon. Free child care is provided and the Bible study runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
On Wednesday, Oct. 16th it is Kindergarten SPLASH at the Sibley Public Library. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
