AMPI is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist position is responsible for implementing all policies and procedures that comprise the EHS program including, but limited to, evaluation and control of safety and health hazards in the workplace, routine hazard recognition and environmental management and also supports functions by performing routine tasks associated with inspection of necessary equipment. The position will work with managers, supervisors, and employees to minimize environmental exposures, occupational health and safety risks, teach specific safe work habits and manage compliance with applicable regulations. The position will primarily workdays but will be required to work some split shifts and on-call to cover the full plant operations, which operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.
AMPI is also looking for General Labor. The primary role of General Labor is to safely follow all production and quality standards while assembling 700-pound cheese blocks. The job will monitor different positions throughout the cheese packaging floor. The position includes, but is not limited to, making block forms, filling blocks with cheese, pushing blocks, closing and sealing blocks in the cooler.
AMPI is also looking for a Lab Technician. The Lab Technician’s primary responsibilities will include raw material and finished product inspections, monitoring of in-process inspections and finished goods, documentation review and/or performs a variety of standard microbiological, chemical and physical or sensory testing and assays. The holder of this position must follow all GMP, HACCP, safety and all other regulatory and plant policies and procedures.
