Alton, Iowa — An Alton teen escaped injury after his vehicle struck a grouping of cows near Alton on Wednesday, May 3rd.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 9:50 pm on Wednesday, 16-year-old Tyler Zenk of Alton was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Venture eastbound on Highway 10, one-half mile east of Alton. According to the report, Zenk struck several cows on the roadway.
Zenk’s Chevrolet received an estimated $7-thousand damage.
No injuries were reported.
