Granville, Iowa– An Arizona man was taken to the hospital after an accident near Granville on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that at about 2:30 p.m., 23-year-old Christian Sandoval of Queen Creek, Arizona was driving a 2021 Chevrolet pickup southbound on Marsh Avenue, two and a half miles south of Granville.
The report says that Sandoval went left off of the roadway. The vehicle then hit a driveway and launched into the air and rolled when it landed. Sandoval was able to crawl out of the back of the pickup.
The Granville Ambulance took Sandoval to Orange City Health System Hospital.
Sandoval’s Chevrolet pickup was totaled in the accident.
He was charged with failure to maintain control.
