Sioux Center, Iowa — A Ford pickup pulling a livestock trailer and a van were damaged in an accident on Wednesday, February 4th.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s office, 25-year-old Jerry Pickell of Rock Valley was driving a 2000 Ford F350 pickup pulling a livestock trailer westbound on 360th Street. Twenty-three-year-old Jessica Vega-Argueta was driving a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country van westbound on 360th Street behind Pickell.
According to the report, Pickell began turning left onto a driveway as Vega-Argueta attempted to pass Pickel and Vega0Argueta struck Pickell.
Pickell’s Ford received $10000 damage. Vega-Argueta’s Chrysler received $6000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
Pickell was cited for failing to use a turn signal and operating a motor vehicle with expired registration
