Sioux Center, Iowa– A Sioux Center man was taken to the hospital after a car versus pedestrian accident in Sioux Center on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
The Sioux Center Police Department reports that at about 9:30 a.m. , 24-year-old Lindsay Clark of Sioux City was driving a 2016 Honda northbound on 4th Avenue Northeast in Sioux Center. They tell us that 45-year-old Greg Schut of Sioux Center was pouring concrete on the east side of 4th Avenue Northeast. He had traffic cones placed on the roadway. The report says Schut was struck in the head and jumped out of the way after he was hit. Clark reported falling asleep, according to the report.
The Sioux Center Ambulance took Schut to Sioux Center Health Hospital.
Clark’s Honda sustained $500 in damages.
She was charged with failure to maintain control.
