George, Iowa — A George woman has been arrested on a warrant for two felony charges out of Woodbury County.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 their deputies arrested 38-year-old Crystal Riemersma of George. They report that Riemersma was wanted out of Woodbury County for forgery and theft 2nd degree. According to Iowa Code, both counts are class “D” felonies.
Riemersma was transported to the Lyon County Jail and was later transported to Woodbury County, where she met with a judge. A $5000 cash or surety bond was set. Court records say Riemersma paid the bond through a bond agent and was released the next day. Her next court appearance was scheduled for Friday, February 14th.
