Granville man jailed for distribution of meth

Granville, Iowa – A Granville man was arrested Saturday for distribution of meth.

The Sioux County Sherriff’s Office tells us the arrest of 32-year-old Yunior Gomez, stemmed from a lengthy investigation into a report of suspected drug trafficking that occurred at a residence in Granville. Upon further  investigation, a search warrant was executed at Gomez’ Granville residence and drugs, packaging material, and a scale was recovered.

Gomez was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of cannabidiol, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of two fictitious identification cards, and three counts of child endangerment due to methamphetamine exposure.\
