Hawarden, Iowa — A Hawarden teen was taken to the hospital after a crash on Wednesday night.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 11:20 p.m., 17-year-old Paul Pullman of Hawarden was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger westbound on 450th Street, about six miles east of Hawarden, when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the north ditch and rolled.
The Ireton Ambulance took him to Hawarden Regional Health.
Damage to the Ford was estimated at $10,000.
The sheriff’s office says the Hawarden Police Department, Ireton Fire Department and Ireton Ambulance Squad assisted them with the response to the crash.
