Hull, Iowa — A Hull woman was taken to the hospital in the aftermath of a two-vehicle crash northwest of Hull Monday afternoon.
Sioux County authorities say the mishap occurred at 3:35 Monday afternoon when a 2015 Ram 1500 pickup, driven by 47-year-old Darcy Techen of Hull was eastbound on 310th Street (Highway 18). Deputies say Techen proceeded east from the stop sign at the Highway 75 intersection, where she collided with a northbound 2001 Ford F-150, driven by 63-year-old Roger Olson of Steen, Minnesota.
Deputies say Techen was transported by the Hull Ambulance to Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley for treatment of minor injuries. Olson escaped injury in the collision.
Deputies estimate damage to each vehicle at approximately $8,000.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hull Fire Department and Hull Ambulance.
The accident remain under investigation.
