Information Sought In Sioux County Hit-And-Run

Sioux Center, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s help in looking for a pickup that drove away from the scene of an accident near Sioux Center on Sunday morning.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just after 5:10 am on Sunday, 27-year-old Ronlado Tomas of Rock Valley was driving a 2004 Ford Mustang eastbound on 380th Street, two miles northwest of Sioux Center. An unknown make, model, and color pickup was traveling westbound on 380th Street.

According to the report, the pickup crossed the center of the roadway and sideswiped Tomas’ vehicle. The report states that the pickup did not stop, continued traveling westbound and was not located.

The Ford received $4,000 damage.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the pickup will likely have damage to it’s front-driver side area.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Sioux Center Police Department.
