Ireton Man Arrested For Allegedly Trafficking In Methamphetamine

Hawarden, Iowa — An Ireton man has been arrested on felony narcotics charges in connection with an incident that happened on September 24th in Hawarden.

Court records indicate that on September 24th, Hawarden Police seized a locked black case from a vehicle being driven by 19-year-old Dylan Adams of Ireton. According to authorities, a search warrant for methamphetamine was executed on the case the next day. As a result of the search, police say they seized more than 120 grams of methamphetamine that was allegedly prepackaged for sale, as well as a digital scale, packaging materials, paraphernalia and what was described as less than one gram of heroin.

This past Friday (October 2nd) Hawarden Police arrested Adams on warrants for Drug Trafficking, a Drug Tax Stamp Violation and Possession of Heroin.

At last report, Adams was being held in the Sioux County Jail in lieu of bond.
