Sioux County, Iowa — A Le Mars man has been arrested on a felony sex abuse charge in Sioux County.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrest log, 25-year-old Casey Rodriguez of Le Mars was arrested on Saturday.
A judge has increased the security level of the criminal complaint in the case — likely due to protecting the identity of the victim — so we are unable to tell you the circumstances involved in the case, or specifically where it happened.
Rodriguez was charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a class C felony. If convicted, he could face up to ten years in prison.
He faces a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, October 28th.
Rodriguez was booked into the Sioux County Jail in Orange City, and was released the next day after posting a $10,000 bond.
