Sibley, Iowa — Checking on a vehicle in the ditch turned into a felony arrest north of Sibley on Wednesday.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that their deputies arrested 34-year-old David Charles Nachtigal, of Little Rock. He was charged with Operating While Under the Influence – 3rd Offense, a Class D Felony; and Driving While Barred, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.
Nachtigal was transported and booked into the Osceola County Jail and at last report was being held on a $7,000 bond.
The Sheriff’s Office says the arrest stemmed from a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Northwest Boulevard north of Sibley.
