Little Rock Woman Accused Of Breaking Into Estranged Husband’s Home, Stealing Items

Little Rock, Iowa — A Little Rock woman has been arrested on burglary and theft charges.

According to Lyon County Sheriff’s Office records filed with the Clerk of Court, 47-year-old Jennifer Vasquez was taken into custody on Wednesday, December 31st. The Little Rock resident faces charges for allegedly entering her estranged husband’s home without permission and stealing items belonging to his girlfriend.

In his statement, the deputy says the break-in happened on December 14th. He says she broke into the front door of the Little Rock home and stole a bag/suitcase and clothing, valued at at least $845.

Vasquez was charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony. If convicted, she could face up to five years in prison. She also faces a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft.

Vasquez faces a preliminary hearing on the charges on January 20th, 2026.

At last report, she remained in the Lyon County Jail in Rock Rapids in lieu of bond.
