Lyon County, Iowa — A Luverne, Minnesota woman has been arrested on a felony warrant for what is alleged to be her part in the theft a pickup from a Lyon County auto dealership last month.
According to court records, 27-year-old Kassie Ringsaker of Luverne is accused of being in possession of a vehicle that had been stolen from Koedam Auto Sales in Larchwood on September 6th. Ringsaker was allegedly found to be in possession of the vehicle, which authorities say she knew, or suspected, was stolen, at the Grand Falls Casino on September 6th. Court records say the truck was recovered at Ringsaker’s Luverne residence the following day. In an interview with Minnesota law enforcement officers she reportedly denied having any knowledge of the vehicle.
Online court records indicate that a warrant was issued for Ringsaker’s arrest on September 18th, charging her with 1st Degree Theft, a Class C Felony. She was arrested on that warrant late last week, according to authorities.
A preliminary hearing in the case has been scheduled for this Friday, October 16th in Lyon County.
