Orange City, Iowa — Over 30 accidents were reported in the snowy hours of Wednesday night into Thursday (March 23rd and 24th) in Sioux County — that from Sioux County Chief Deputy Nate Huizenga.
He says with that many accidents, it could have been a lot worse. He says no one was transported by ambulance.
He says the two biggest factors in most of the accidents were visibility and speed.
Hopefully we don’t have too many more snow events, but Huizinga says “slowing down” is always good advice in less-than-perfect conditions.
