Inwood, Iowa — One person was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital as the result of a crash on Sunday night near Inwood.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, about 10:50 p.m., a crash happened on the north end of Inwood at Highway 182 and 230th Street.
The report was devoid of details of the crash, including the name of the victim, but it did say that the driver and only occupant was transferred to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Their injuries were termed “non-life-threatening.”
The Sheriff’s Office reports that the Inwood Fire Department and Rescue Squad, the Canton-Inwood Ambulance Squad, and the Inwood Body Shop assisted with the response to the accident, which they say is still under investigation.
