Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City 21-year-old faces a felony charge after an Orange City teen accused him of sexual abuse.
According to the Orange City Police Department, 21-year-old Carson John Wilson of Orange City is charged with Third-Degree Sexual Abuse, a class C felony. They say Wilson was charged after they received information that a 14-year-old girl is pregnant. Upon further investigation, they say it was determined that Wilson is the father. The Orange City Police Department says that after they arrested Wilson and read him his rights, he did admit to sexual contact with the victim in February of this year.
If convicted of the class c felony, Wilson could face up to ten years in prison. At last report, he was being held in the Sioux County Jail without bond. No court dates have yet been set in the case.
