Orange City Man Faces Felony Drug Charges After Arrest

Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City man is behind bars, facing felony drug charges after an arrest on Wednesday.

According to the Orange City Police Department, they arrested 23-year-old Trey Michael Beltman of Orange City in the 4 p.m. hour at a location in the 200 block of Michigan Avenue Southwest in Orange City.

Officers say Beltman was charged with possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), third or subsequent offense, which is a class D Felony.

Beltman was transported to and incarcerated in the Sioux County Jail, where, at last report, he remained, in lieu of a $5000 bond, according to Sioux County Jail records.

No court dates have been set yet in the case, but court records say Beltman also faces felony drug charges from a case that arose in January. The next date in that case is a pretrial conference, set for Monday, April 29th.
