Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Rock Rapids teen struck parked car on Monday, September 21st in Rock Rapids.
The Lyon County Sheriff reports that on Monday, 15-year-old Reese Borman was driving a 2002 Volkswagon eastbound on 7th Avenue in Rock Rapids. According to the report, the sun was blinding her, so Borman was slowing down and pulling over to the side of the road when she struck a 1987 Ford Ranger owned by John Pap of Rock Rapids, which was parked alongside of the road.
Both vehicles received $2500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
