Hull, Iowa — A Rock Valley man was taken to the hospital after an accident near Hull on Saturday, June 5.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 10:55 p.m., 19-year-old Jose Sanchez of Rock Valley was driving a 2007 Pontiac G6 eastbound on Highway 18, two miles northwest of Hull when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a guardrail.
The Hull Ambulance took Sanchez to Hegg Health Center in Rock Valley.
The Pontiac sustained about $4,000 in damage. The guardrail sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that the Hull Ambulance squad, the Hull Fire Department, the Rock Valley Police Department, and the Sioux County Conservation Board assisted with the response to the accident.
