Orange City, Iowa — A second person has been charged in connection with a sexual abuse case that we recently told you about.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Royce Lee Cox is charged with Third Degree Sexual Abuse, a class C felony.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Deputy filing the report says that he talked to the victim, who says the incident took place in Hull this past May. As we told you previously, 21-year-old Jesus Soto-Gonzalez of Le Mars is also charged in connection with the incident. The victim states that the sexual contact was against her will.
Cox was arrested on Thursday evening, September 15th. No court dates have yet been set in the case. If convicted of a class C felony offense Cox and Soto-Gonzalez could face up to ten years in prison.
