Sheldon Firefighters To Hold Training Fire At VNU Saturday

Sheldon, Iowa — It’s not often that firefighters know when and where they’ll be fighting a blaze, but the Sheldon Fire Company knows that they’ll be controlling a blaze Saturday morning.

Assistant Fire Chief Randy Harms tells KIWA that a firefighters will be responding to Village Northwest Unlimited, in Sheldon, Saturday morning for a Training Fire.

Assistant Sheldon Fire Chief Randy Harms says the Training Fire will kill two birds with one stone, in that it will serve to destroy an old house on the Village grounds that needs to be removed to make way for new construction.
