Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Police have charged a 14-year old Sheldon juvenile with felony Forgery in connection with an incident that happened at a residence on Washington Avenue. The youth was cited into juvenile court on the charge.

Sheldon Police took a report of stolen property early Sunday evening from a residence in the 500 block of Oak Street. According to the report, the theft happened sometime on Saturday.

Authorities are also investigating a burglary that was reported Tuesday morning at the Girl Scout House in the Sheldon City Park. Cops say the incident apparently happened sometime between April 1st and April 7th.

A 16-year old Sheldon girl faces charges after crashing her SUV on South 5th Avenue in Sheldon on Friday. Police say Eliza Breuer of Sheldon was driving a 1998 GMC Envoy on South 5th Avenue, which is a gravel street, shortly after noon on Friday when she lost control and rolled the vehicle, causing her to suffer minor injuries. The Envoy sustained about $5,000 in estimated damages.
Breuer was reportedly ticketed for Reckless Driving and No Driver’s License.
