Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon police arrested a pair of Sheldon residents in separate incidents on Thursday, January 22nd, and took the report of a theft from a residence on Friday, January 23rd.
According to information released by the Sheldon Police Department, 37-year old Clarence Melvin Paulsen of Sheldon was arrested on a 5th Degree Theft Warrant issued by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest took place about 1:15 Thursday afternoon. Paulsen was transported to the O’Brien County Jail in Primghar.
Around 2:55 Thursday afternoon Sheldon Police say they observed 25-year old Allison Jerel Stone of Sheldon allegedly operating a motor vehicle on North 7th Avenue in Sheldon. According to the report, Stone was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended, and taken to jail in Primghar.
During the noon hour on Friday, police received a report of a package containing approximately $50 worth of Tupperware products that had been stolen from the front door of a residence in the 1900 block of East 9th Street.
