Sheldon, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in a minor accident Tuesday in Sheldon. Sheldon Police say that about 8:25 Tuesday morning 61-
year old Charmain Gesink of Sheldon was backing her 2003 Chrysler minivan from a driveway on South 9th Avenue and backed into a 2012 Hyundai SanteFe which was legally parked across the street.
Damage to Gesink’s Chrysler was estimated to be about $1500, with $3000 damage reported to the Hyundai. Gesink was reportedly ticketed for unsafe backing.
No injuries were reported.
