Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon woman faces two felony charges after an investigation into a recent incident.
According to an O’Brien County Deputy’s reports on three criminal complaints, 41-year-old Tiffany Paulsen allegedly entered a victim’s house and took items that belonged to the victim to make him angry and/or upset. According to the report, one door jamb was broken and a second door’s knob was drilled out to gain entry. The deputy says several of the items, valued at about $1535 were recovered and some items, valued at about $900 are still missing.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office requested to search Paulsen’s residence, and she consented. The deputy says Paulsen told one of the officers that there would be drug paraphernalia in the living room, and officers found a torch and a bong. The bong had residue in it that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Paulsen was charged with Third Degree Burglary and Second Degree Theft, both class D felonies; and possession of a controlled substance, second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor.
