Hull, Iowa — Sioux County officials are trying to find the person who was driving an ATV or truck that struck a dumpster in Hull and then left the scene without reporting the accident.
On Sunday morning, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident, which occurred near the intersection of Walnut Street and 12th Street in Hull.
Deputies believe that sometime during the overnight hours of Saturday, June 15 into Sunday morning, a dumpster owned by the City of Hull on Walnut Street was struck by a southbound truck or ATV-type vehicle; the driver left the scene without reporting the accident.
The vehicle involved will have front and side damage. The dumpster sustained approximately $1,000 in damage.
