Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley man was arrested Friday after the investigation into an alleged attempted sexual assault.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, they received a report of a sexual assault Friday that allegedly took place on 3rd Avenue in Sibley.
Deputies say their investigation resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Juan Edilberto Lopez Hernandez on a charge of Assault with the Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse Resulting in Bodily Injury, a Class D Felony.
Lopez Hernandez was held in the Osceola County Jail on a $5,000 bond
