Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley man was transported to the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley with injuries he received in a single-vehicle crash north of Sibley early Sunday evening.
According to the crash report from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 7:00 Sunday evening, a 2013 Ford Taurus, driven by 53-year-old Alan Ray Hoppe of Sibley was southbound on Oriole Avenue, about one quarter mile north of Sibley, when Hoppe lost control of the car, which entered the east ditch and rolled at least two times before coming to rest in a cornfield.
Hoppe was transported to the Osceola Regional Health Center by the Sibley Ambulance with what authorities describe as “incapacitating injuries.”
Deputies estimate $15,000 in damage to Hoppe’s car in the crash.
