Sioux County Authorities Looking For Driver In Hull Accident

Hull, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to solve a hit-and-run case.

Deputies tell us that on Tuesday, March 12, at 5:04 p.m. the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Okey Street and 2nd Street, Hull.

They say that 35-year-old Drew Heynen of Boyden was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado pickup westbound on 2nd Street. He stopped for the stop sign at Okey Street behind a gold Dodge Grand Caravan. The driver of the Dodge backed up the vehicle, striking the front of Heynen’s vehicle; the driver left without exchanging information. The Caravan was driven by an older white male.

No injuries were reported.

They tell us Heynen’s Chevrolet pickup sustained approximately $1,500 in damage.
