Lyon County, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car versus cow accident on Friday, March 24th.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that 18-year-old Haleigh Kruger of Rock Rapids was westbound on 260th Street in a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. According to the report, a cow entered the roadway, and Kruger’s vehicle struck the cow, owned by Elwyn Hoogendoorn.
The Blazer was a total loss. Hoogendoorn took care of the cow.
No injuries were reported.
