Maurice, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in an accident near Maurice on Monday, April 11th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 5:56 pm on Monday, 26-year-old Jesse Dalton of Cherokee was driving a 1980 Oldsmobile 98 westbound on Highway 10, three miles north of Maurice. Fifty-eight-year-old Michael Luken of Le Mars was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Highway 75. According to the report, Dalton failed to yield from the stop sign at Highway 75 and struck Luken in the intersection.
The Oldsmobile received $2000 damage; the Silverado received $1500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
