Sioux Center, IA — A Rock Valley woman’s vehicle and an Orange City man’s vehicle were damaged in an accident near Sioux Center on Wednesday, June 10th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports, that at about 5:14 pm, 47-year-old Denise Greene of Rock Valley was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban southbound on Highway 10, one mile north of Sioux Center. Twenty-four-year-old Trevor Starkweather of Orange City was diving a 2005 Buick LeSabre southbound behind Greene. According to the report, Greene attempted to turn onto 370th Street and Starkweather struck Greene.
The Suburban received $2000 damage. The Buick received $8000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
Starkweather was cited for following too close.
