Video – Lyon Sheriff Seeking Identity Of Person Believed To Be Involved In Vehicle Theft

Inwood, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after the report of a stolen vehicle in Inwood.

According to Lyon County authorities, the vehicle was stolen this past Thursday, March 3rd in Inwood. Fortunately, the sheriff’s office has two surveillance videos of a person they believe to be involved in the crime. Unfortunately, the videos do not give a close-up or clear view of the person’s face. They appear in the videos to be a male with a normal to slim build, wearing a Carhart-type light-colored coat over a dark or black hooded sweatshirt, but the footage is black-and-white so it’s hard to tell.

The videos can be viewed on the Lyon County Sheriff Facebook page. If you recognize the person, you are asked to call the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-472-8300.
