Worthington, Minnesota — A Worthington man has died and a Shevlin, Minnesota man was taken to the hospital after a crash in Worthington on Tuesday, April 30, 2024
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that at about 5:15 p.m., 33-year-old Codey Fisher of Worthington was driving a 1991 GMC pickup northbound in the southbound lanes of the combined Highways 59/60, at the southeast corner of Worthington near Paul Avenue. They tell us that 45-year-old Brandon Hunter of Shevlin, Minnesota was southbound on 59/60 in a 2005 Trao semi.
The report says that the vehicles collided head-on.
Fisher died from injuries sustained in the crash. The Worthington Ambulance took Hunter to Sanford Worthington Hospital.
Worthington Ambulance, the Worthington Fire Department, the Worthington Police Department, and the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
