Deputies Seek Info In Weekend Boyden Burglary, Tool Theft

Boyden, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public about a burglary and tool theft at a Boyden residence this past weekend.

Deputies say they were advised early Monday morning (today) of the burglary and theft that occurred at that residence.

Upon further investigation, deputies reportedly discovered that someone entered into a residence on Pleasant Street in Boyden and stole power tools consisting of an air compressor, drills, radio and other construction items.

Authorities say the crime likely occurred sometime between Saturday, September 11, at 3:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 12, at 5:30 p.m.

The tools and accessories are valued at approximately $925.
