Orange City, Iowa — An incident early Sunday morning has landed an Orange City man in hot water.
According to court documents, Orange City Police were called to a domestic violence call shortly before 1:00 am Sunday. As a result of that call, police charged 18-year-old Carlos Morales Lopez with Domestic Abuse Assault Impeding Air or Blood Flow, Causing Injury, which is a Class D Felony.
In addition, authorities say Morales Lopez is charged with 2nd Offense OWI, which is an Aggravated Misdemeanor and Driving While License Denied or Revoked, a Serious Misdemeanor.
He was placed under arrest and housed in the Sioux County Jail, where online jail records show he was still being held early Monday afternoon.
