Lyon County Deputies Arrest California Man On Pair Of Felony Narcotics-Related Charges.

Lyon County, Iowa — A California man was arrested by Lyon County authorities Saturday (February 8th) on a pair of felony drug-related charges.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, one of their deputies made contact with 35-year-old Daryl Blair, of Los Osos, California, and with the help of K9 Rizzo, allegedly found Blair to be in possession of illegal drugs.

The report says Blair was charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, which is a Class B Felony, and Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp, which is a Class D Felony. In addition, Blair was charged with Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

If convicted on the Possession With Intent To Deliver Meth charge, Blair could face up to 25-years in prison. The Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp charge, if convicted, would carry a penalty of up to 5-years in prison.
