Primghar Man Arrested On Felony Drug Charge

Primghar — A Primghar man has been arrested on drug charges after an incident in that town.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the O’Brien County Clerk of Court’s Office by the county sheriff’s office, 37-year-old John Bandomo of Primghar is accused of the possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested on Thursday.

The complaint states that the officer is alleging that Bandomo was in the possession of a glass pipe containing methamphetamine residue, which he allegedly hid in an empty plastic cup by a dumpster. The deputy states that he observed Bandomo put the cup there and later, he says Bandomo admitted the pipe was his.

Bandomo was charged with third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony. If convicted, Bandomo could face up to five years in prison.

He faces a preliminary hearing on Thursday, March 30th.

At last report, he remained in the O’Brien County Jail in Primghar.
