Sheldon, Iowa — King Alex Zoelle (son of Tony & Sara Zoelle) and Queen Bailey Elgersma (daughter of Corey & Teri Elgersma and Darla & Lee Reuvers ) were crowned at the Sheldon High School Coronation ceremonies Tuesday evening. Attendants include Rebecca Beldt , Mallory McQueen, D’Que Serrano, Kaitlyn Vote, Nick Bomgaars, Cody Cooper, Parker Nissen & Dominic Seivert.
Homecoming festivities have been taking place all week and wrap up on Friday with a fun-filled afternoon. Pre-Game activities for the Orabs include He-Man Volleyball in the gym at 12:20 p.m. and Powder Puff Football at 1:00 p.m. A talent show will be taking place in the auditorium at 1:35 p.m. and the school day will wrap up with a Pep Rally for K – 12 in the high school gym starting at 2:30 p.m.
At 5:30 p.m. there will be a supper hosted by FFA & Northwestern Bank, followed by the TK—6th Grade Cheerleading Clinic Performance at 6:00 p.m.
Recognition of the Homecoming Candidates will take place at 6:40 p.m. prior to the football game against Central Lyon/George-Little Rock with Homecoming Dance following after the game and running until 11:30 p.m.
