Sioux Falls, South Dakota — For the second year in a row, Amelia topped the list as the most popular name for newborn girls born at Sanford Health in 2021. For boys, Oliver was the most popular name, moving up one spot from number two in 2020, according to Sanford Health.
In second place, there was a tie in both the girls and boys category. Emma and Harper tied as the second most popular name for newborn girls while Henry and Theodore tied for second place for newborn boys. In 2020, Harper was the fourth most popular girls name and Emma was the fifth most popular name.
