Sheldon, Iowa — The annual “Taste of Sheldon” event is back at Northwest Iowa Community College.
Jena Schouten, NCC’s Coordinator of Residence Life and Student Activities tells us about it.
She says students don’t have to sign up or anything — just show up during the event.
While it’s too late for businesses and organizations to sign up for Wednesday’s event, Schouten says if you’re interested, she’d still like to talk to you and maybe get your entity on the list for next year.
Schouten does remind you that masks will be mandatory at the event, but she says she’s looking forward to the students getting “a taste of Sheldon” so they can become more aware of all that’s available in the community.
