Sheldon, Iowa — The second production of the 50th season of Sheldon High School Summer Theatre opens this Thursday, June 9th.
The 50th season began last week with the presentation of Clue. This weekend, during Week #2, the chaotic comedy Mama Won’t Fly will be presented at Sheldon High School. The Director of Mama Won’t Fly is Simon Maggert, and he tells us a little about the show.
Makayla Van Voorst is one of the performer’s in this week’s production and she talks about her character.
She tells us how she came to be cast in that role.
Sheldon High School Summer Theatre presents a different production each week throughout their six-week season.
Mama Won’t Fly will open this Thursday night, with additional performances Friday and Saturday night, with curtain time at 8:00 each evening. This week’s show will be performed in the Sheldon High School Commons, with tickets available at the door.
