A strong spring storm will continue affecting much of the region through Friday. The main threats will be heavy snow, freezing rain, sleet, and strong winds, along with isolated thunderstorms in the morning. Moderate icing could occur mainly in the morning along the I-90 corridor of southwest Minnesota and into the adjoining stretch of northern Iowa and southeastern SD.
Strong winds will continue today, bringing dangerous conditions to the region, with blizzard conditions likely where snow is falling.
