Auditor Announces 100-Town Hall Tour

Iowa — State Auditor and gubernatorial candidate Rob Sand has scheduled another 100 Town Hall tour.

Sand says, “As elected officials, it’s our job to show up and listen everywhere and to every Iowan. That’s what I’ve done every year since taking office as State Auditor, and it’s exactly what I plan on doing throughout this tour. Too many of our elected officials have left Iowa families behind to instead serve powerful insiders or their donors. I will go anywhere and talk to anyone because I believe we have to bring all Iowans together to solve some of our toughest challenges. I look forward to sharing my vision with Iowans and hearing from them directly throughout this tour.”

In our area, all of the town hall meetings will take place on Tuesday, July 1st. Sand will be in Osceola County that morning at 9:00. He’ll be in Lyon County at 11:00. That afternoon, he’ll be in Sioux County at 1:30, and then that evening, he’ll be in O’Brien County at 8:00. He’ll also be in Plymouth and Cherokee counties that day. Exact locations have not been announced.
