Authorities Seek Public’s Help To Determine Who Shot Natural Gas Equipment Near Sioux Center

Sioux Center, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help to solve a vandalism case.

Sioux County Sheriff’s officials tell us that on Thursday, July 20, at 6:50 a.m., their department investigated a report of vandalism that occurred on Garfield Avenue, two miles west of Sioux Center.

Upon further investigation, deputies believe that a piece of natural gas equipment owned by the City of Sioux Center sustained damage from three gunshots.
