Sheldon, Iowa — There was a ribbon cutting on Monday evening, October 2nd in Sheldon at the new facility for the organization Awakening Grace.
Vanessa Harig tells us about Awakening Grace.
She says sometimes they are contacted by the family or friends and sometimes they are contacted by the hospital.
Harig says their new presence is a storefront in Sheldon.
Sheldon Chamber President Justin Jonas spoke on behalf of the Sheldon Chamber of Commerce.
Interim Director of the SCDC, Mark Brown, spoke on behalf of that organization.

Awakening Grace is also sponsoring a 5K Remembrance Color Fun Run on Saturday, October 14, starting and ending at the Holiday Inn Express in Sheldon. Check in is at 8 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9. There will also be a freewill donation egg, pancake, and sausage breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. inside the Holiday Inn.
