Sheldon, Iowa — A good crowd was on hand Saturday evening for the 2nd Annual Sheldon Christmas Parade of Lights.
Many spectators were bundled up against temperatures in the 30s at parade time, but despite the cool temps a good time was had by all.
Twenty-one entries were decked out with Christmas lights, many with music as well. Ron Drenkow Motors, northwest Iowa’s Jeep dealer, along with KIWA Radio, sponsored the Jeep Parade that was part of the Christmas Parade of Lights, with one of the seven jeeps entered winning the Jeep Parade Grand Prize. This year’s winner was entry number 12, driven by Aaron Beenken. Aaron can pick up his prize Monday at the KIWA Studios. Congratulations to Aaron Beenken and his Jeep.
The winning Jeep entry can be seen at the top of this story, with more of the Jeeps pictured below KIWA’s video of the 2nd Annual Chrismas Parade of Lights, which is below……
